"For many years, the availability and quality of church related software was fairly limited in Canada, with most of the software coming out of the United States.  Having used a number of these software packages, my observations were that they: catered to a different market that didn’t always apply to the Canadian Church; and that their customer and technical support was very expensive and unreliable.  Herein lies the true value and benefit of Connections.dbd and the Verse program which we use at Christ Church, Chatham.

While not every church would require the full suite of services which Verse affords, its application is universal and its benefit is the same, whether applied to a multi-point rural parish or to a large, single point metropolitan parish.  The ability to coordinate the membership database with the financial information, as well as managing the administration and pastoral ministry makes Verse invaluable.  Even now, after using the Verse software for the last 3 years, there are still modules that we are trying for the first time. 

While the product offers outstanding value on its own, what sets Verse apart is the technical support offered by Connections.dbd.  In all the time that we have used Verse, there has never been a time when the Connections team has not been available, either directly or through remote access to assist us with any issue that has arisen, working always to our schedules and deadlines.  As well, any concerns or ideas for improvement have always been responded to and often incorporated into the current Verse software.
